Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 1, 2026 · Consors Amica LLC d/b/a Legal Fee Recovery
Legal Fee Recovery is a coaching service, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice or legal representation. No attorney-client relationship is formed by using our services.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Legal Fee Recovery, operated by Consors Amica LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By submitting your case, uploading documents, or engaging our services in any way, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of Services
Legal Fee Recovery provides coaching, communication guidance, and document drafting assistance to individuals who believe they were overcharged or mistreated by their attorney. Specifically, we:
- Review your billing records and identify potential violations of applicable professional responsibility rules
- Draft demand letters and other correspondence on your behalf
- Coach you through the negotiation process, including how to respond to the firm
- Advise on escalation options such as fee arbitration or bar complaints
We do not represent you in court, appear on your behalf before any tribunal, or provide legal advice as defined by the laws of any jurisdiction. You remain the actor in all communications with your former attorney or their firm. All letters and correspondence are sent by you, from your own accounts, under your own name.
2. Fee Structure
Our fee is 25% of any amount recovered as a direct result of our coaching services. There is no upfront cost of any kind. If we do not help you recover any money, you owe us nothing.
"Recovery" means any monetary payment, credit, refund, or reduction in outstanding balance received from the law firm or attorney following our engagement, whether through direct negotiation, fee arbitration, settlement, or any other means.
3. Payment Authorization and Card on File
By engaging our services, you authorize us to:
- Collect and store your payment card information through our payment processor (Stripe)
- Charge your card for the applicable contingency fee upon recovery
You agree to notify us within 48 hours of receiving any payment, settlement offer, or recovery from the law firm. Failure to provide timely notification does not waive our right to our contingency fee. We reserve the right to charge your card on file for the applicable fee upon learning of any recovery, regardless of notification timing.
4. Your Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your case
- Not contact the law firm or opposing attorney during our engagement without our knowledge and guidance
- Send all communications to the law firm from your own email and accounts only
- Notify us within 48 hours of any communication, offer, or payment from the law firm
- Not independently settle, compromise, or release any claim without notifying us first
5. No Guarantee of Recovery
We make no representation or warranty that you will recover any amount from your former attorney or law firm. Past results described on our website are not indicative of future outcomes. Every case is different, and the amount recovered, if any, depends on many factors outside our control.
6. Confidentiality
We treat all information you share with us as confidential. We will not disclose your case information to any third party except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law. You agree that we may use anonymized, non-identifying details from your case for illustrative purposes (such as on our website) unless you request otherwise in writing.
7. Intellectual Property
All demand letters, correspondence, and documents we draft for you are provided for your personal use in connection with your case. You may not resell, redistribute, or use our templates or methodology for commercial purposes without our written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Consors Amica LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including any outcome of negotiations with your former attorney or firm. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the fees you have paid us.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with proceedings conducted in English. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active clients of material changes by email. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
